Description
The Elly Glasius is a passenger ship with a rich history. The ship was built in 1966 for Koppe shipping company and initially served as a ferry between Amsterdam and Marken. In 1972, the vessel was sold to recreation park De Waarbeek in Hengelo, where she was renamed in "De Waarbeek". In 2015, she regained her original name, Elly Glasius, and since then she has been active in the Amsterdam region again. This day passenger ship has a capacity for 152 passengers and is certified for Zone 2 NL and the EU Zones 3 and 4. She features a large outside deck of approximately 80 m², a luxurious interior with spacious seating, a bar, a sound system and air conditioning.
