VINDÖ 50 (1974) – CLASSIC LONG KEELER IN WELL-MAINTAINED, MODERNIZED CONDITION For sale is a Vindö 50 from 1974 (LOA 10.65 m / 35 ft, beam 3.10 m, draft 1.60 m, displacement approx. 6.5 t). I purchased the vessel in October 2025 in Denmark to realize a 6-month sabbatical in the summer of 2026 as a solo sailor in the Baltic Sea. Despite her classic age, the yacht has been extensively modernized technically and is ready to sail immediately. Outdated systems are nowhere to be found – there is no deferred maintenance. The Vindö sails very balanced and course-stable. Close-hauled she achieves approx. 40°, with a reefed genoa about 43°. The long keel ensures steady behavior particularly on broad reaches without annoying yawing – ideal for longer passages. HEADROOM I am 1.85 m tall and can stand upright in the cabin without any problem.
