The Atlantic 37 from 1981 is a motorboat that stands out in the market. Tusindfryd was built in Copenhagen, and this model is unique with its specific construction. The Atlantic 37 is designed for buyers looking for something different from the standard motorboats available. The combination of Danish craftsmanship, solid construction, fully renovated Detroit Diesel engines from 1981, and extensive equipment makes Tusindfryd a special opportunity. There is nothing quite like it, and for the right buyer, this is a chance to acquire a boat with a history and character that cannot be replicated by choosing a comparable standard model. The Atlantic 37 is built with a focus on solid craftsmanship and durability. The boat is equipped with two Detroit Diesel 6-71 two-stroke diesel engines, each providing 325 horsepower, originally from 1965 and completely renovated in 1981 during installation in the boat. This engine type is known for its robust design and is built for thousands of operating hours. The engines are designed to perform and are a significant element of the boat's unique character. The boat is particularly well-suited for cruising and canal navigation. Power transmission occurs via Allison hydraulic gear. The hydraulic transmission contributes to smooth shifting and navigation. The combination of the solid diesel engines and hydraulic gear perfectly complements the boat's construction. The seller cruises at a speed of 6-7 knots at 900 RPM, with a total fuel consumption reported at approximately 15 liters of diesel per hour combined. The cruising speed can easily be increased, but this level works well for the seller. The Atlantic 37 Tusindfryd features a spacious helm/cockpit with a headroom of about 1.85 meters. Below deck, there is a forward cabin with a double bed in the bow, an additional double bed by the seating area, a pantry, and access to the boat's toilet. Additionally, there is an aft cabin with two single berths, ample storage space, and a storage room that was previously used as a toilet. The pantry is equipped with a gas stove with two burners, a gas oven, an electric hood, sink, and an electric refrigerator from 2022. There is also a freezer within the refrigerator. Various tableware and more are included. The boat features a fixed swim platform, swim ladder, transom shower, Flexiteek decking, and a canopy for the aft deck. It has an electric anchor winch with chain, stainless steel davits, trim tabs, searchlight, and shore power with relay. Two stainless steel gangways are also included along with a bow shield for anchoring as well as Flexiteek for repairs. Navigation equipment includes Furuno LS6000 depth sounder and fishfinder, Furuno 1830 radar, and Furuno GP 30 GPS. Additionally, the boat is equipped with autopilot, compass, log indicator, rudder position indicator, navigation lights, and two VHF radios. The technical equipment includes an inverter, battery charger for both 12V and 24V systems as well as batteries from 2021. There are both electric and manual bilge pumps, fire suppression system in the engine room, and two fire extinguishers. Life jackets and a liferaft (to be serviced) are included along with two extra three-blade propellers. The boat also features waterborne oil heating at 3 kW and airborne oil heating from Eberspächer at 5 kW. The freshwater tank holds 600 liters; the septic tank holds 120 liters; and the diesel tank has a capacity of 1,050 liters. An additional tank of 300 liters has been disconnected. Various loose items such as service equipment, tools, extra carpets, an additional starter motor for the Detroit engines, two new water pumps as well as various oil and diesel filters and gaskets are included with the boat. Receipts and history on the boat are also available.
