Cascaruda 1050 now available in the online auction. Everyone can place bids until November 16, 2026. What kind of boat is the Cascaruda 1050? The Cascaruda 1050 is a classic Dutch steel motor cruiser from 1982. Built in Sassenheim, it measures 10.50 meters in length, 3.25 meters in width, and has a draft of 1.10 meters. Thanks to its hard chine hull and relatively wide beam, it provides a stable platform for relaxing trips on inland waters, lakes, rivers, canals, and ditches. The air draft is 2.40 meters. Inside, there is a headroom of 1.98 meters, allowing you to move upright throughout most of the boat. The Cascaruda 1050 has been used for day trips, vacations, and weekends on the water. The current owners have had her for five years and are the fourth owners. She has only navigated Dutch inland waters and, according to provided information, has never been used at sea. The boat is suitable for couples and families who value space, a fixed sleeping area, and practical layout. How is the layout on board? Inside, there are four fixed sleeping places and two additional sleeping spots. The salon and dining area provide space for gatherings and meals, while the mattresses make your stay on board more comfortable. The galley is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, and freezer. For longer weekends or vacations, there is a water tank with a capacity of 500 liters. The boat features an electric toilet with waste discharge going directly into open water. Heating is provided by hot air systems. According to the seller, the interior has been renovated; this includes new upholstery for cushions and mattresses, fresh paintwork throughout the interior, and new curtains installed. A new toilet has also been fitted. The windows are made of aluminum. Outside, the Cascaruda comes with a bimini top, davits, a crane, a swim platform, and a swim ladder. Fenders and lines are included. There is no tender available nor is there a trailer included. Additional equipment consists of two teak chairs with cushions, a television, and an outdoor 12-volt connection. What engine and technology are present? The boat is powered by one Mitsubishi S6S inboard diesel engine. This six-cylinder engine was built in 2016 and delivers 96 horsepower with approximately 1200 running hours. The engine starts electrically and is reported as operational according to available information. The stated cruising speed is around 11 kilometers per hour with a maximum speed of approximately 16 kilometers per hour. On board are fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge, and tachometer. The fuel tank has a capacity of 250 liters. For maneuvering in tighter spaces, an electric bow thruster has been installed. The electrical system includes a battery charger, alternator, inverter, voltmeter, shore power connection, and solar panel. There are three batteries on board with a total capacity of 580 ampere-hours at 12 volts. What is the condition of the exterior? The exterior requires some attention regarding finishing touches. Part of the steelwork has been painted while another part remains in primer. The hull has been fully treated with epoxy and according to the seller is ready for further finishing work. The deck still needs painting as well as one side that’s completed along with the underside and rear section. Antifouling treatment was performed in 2025; the boat was out of the water for maintenance that same year. On deck are stainless steel cleats present among other features. For anchoring purposes, one anchor with chain is available; the anchor winch operates manually. An electric bilge pump and life buoy are also part of the equipment list. The current condition clearly shows that work has already been done on this vessel but that exterior finishing remains incomplete. Who is this boat suitable for? This Cascaruda 1050 may be right for you if you are looking for a spacious steel motor cruiser for inland waters and are willing to complete or arrange remaining painting work on the exterior yourself. Its broad layout, headroom height, and fixed sleeping areas make it suitable for relaxing weekends or longer stays on board. The combination of an engine from 2016 along with an electric bow thruster and solar panels offers a practical foundation for recreational use. Anyone searching online to buy a boat can consider this model as it represents a classic Dutch motor vessel showing clear signs of use along with remaining tasks needed to be completed. For those specifically looking to purchase a second-hand boat it’s important to pay attention during viewings to finish work on steelwork as well as paintwork and technical installations based on your own plans. What can you inspect during viewings? During viewings you can explore both inside and outside the Cascaruda 1050. You can assess its layout, interior space, engine compartment, existing equipment as well as areas still needing completion on the exterior surface. Pay particular attention to paint condition on surfaces including deck areas along with epoxy treatment status windows electrical installations etcetera .
