Description

Zenobia II is a steel boat built at the Van Rossum shipyard in Holland in 1980. She is in great condition, close to the original design, and functions both as a seaworthy vessel for trips in the archipelago and as a comfortable more stationary residence, which she has been used as during summers in Blekinge. There is an oil boiler and a water-based heating system, allowing for comfortable living even on cooler days. The owners live abroad and have used the boat as their base during visits to Sweden. The owner of the Van Rossum shipyard in Holland specially designed and built her for himself in 1980 upon retirement. The current owner purchased Zenobia in 2016 from a family in Denmark, who had acquired her directly from the shipyard ten years prior. Thus, the boat has only had three owners. Upon arrival in Sweden, Zenobia was registered in the ship's registry and underwent an official ship measurement. She measures 14.80 meters in length, has a maximum width of 4.30 meters, and a draft of approximately 1.80 meters. The interior is largely made of teak and retains its original design. There is a small but functional kitchen equipped with a gas stove, microwave, small fridge, and freezer that can run on gas or electricity. The dining area accommodates at least five people. A large and bright salon is adjacent to the helm. Below deck, there is a fully tiled bathroom with a bathtub, two smaller cabins, and a larger captain's cabin with a double bed. On the aft deck, there is a patio with space for a dining table or seating area, and a sun deck is located on the roof. A newer rubber boat with a 4-horsepower outboard motor is included. Zenobia is equipped with a 1,500-liter septic tank and a 2,500-liter water tank, allowing for extended trips without the need to dock. The boat has a 220V electrical system via shore power (or through an inverter/generator) and a 12V/24V system for operation at sea or during power outages. The engine is a Mercedes OM 360 with 160 horsepower according to the Dutch registration documents. Equipment includes: Radar, autopilot, VHF, radio 5.5 kW generator, 75 A battery charger, 24V 1200W inverter 4+2+1 batteries, bow thruster, depth sounder, three-blade propeller 12V/24V electrical system (including electrical and flow diagrams) Water-based heating system with oil boiler (installed in 2007) Complete with mooring equipment, fenders, etc. Recently reupholstered cushions Shower & bathtub, forepeak with storage, and a large engine room with a workbench Mast with support sail Specifications: Designer: Van Rossum Model year: 1980 Length: 14.80 m Width: 4.30 m Draft: approx. 1.80 m Weight: 25.6 tons Cabins: 3 Fuel: Water: 2500 l Septic tank: 1500 l
