Description

Grand Banks combines high quality, safety, and performance with very comfortable accommodation for a smaller crew. The boat is stable and spacious like a miniature ship, offering enjoyable cruising on long journeys or relaxing day trips. Grand Banks' philosophy is robust and high-class construction, along with reliable, well-known technology that is easy to service. The design closely resembles the American lobster trawlers, known for their seaworthiness. The spacious and bright salon offers lovely views in all directions. There is a substantial sofa with a large folding table for pleasant gatherings. To starboard, the helm station is equipped with all necessary electronics and technology conveniently accessible. Through the door, the skipper can easily step out onto the deck for maneuvers in the harbor, for example. The galley in the salon is positioned to make cooking an enjoyable experience. In the bow, there is a spacious cabin with a large V-berth, plenty of drawers and cabinets, and access to the WC with a shower. The luxurious owner's cabin is located aft and features its own WC with a separate shower area, ample storage space, and access to the aft deck. Below the salon, there is a well-insulated, proper engine room. Here lie the durable Ford Lehmann engines and other technology, all easily accessible for service. The deck areas are well-planned with wide side decks and high rails for maximum safety even in rough conditions. The spacious flybridge is a fantastic spot for the crew to enjoy when the weather permits and also provides the skipper with better visibility during harbor maneuvers. The dinghy is stored on the aft cabin roof and can be easily launched using the boom on the mast. Grand Banks boats are known for using simple and proven technology for the engines, gearboxes, etc., to facilitate repairs and service and provide the highest possible reliability. The Grand Banks 36 is surprisingly easy to maneuver in harbors thanks to the long keel, twin engines, and a powerful bow thruster. At cruising speeds of 6…8 knots, the consumption is only 12...15 liters per nautical mile. The boat is in good condition, regularly maintained, and continuously updated over the years. No groundings or other significant damages. This Grand Banks 36 is in warm winter storage in Pargas and has a berth in Nagu, approximately 2.5 hours west of Helsinki – Finland.
