WANDA was designed in Littlehampton, England, by the William Osborne shipyard and built in the classic and elegant design form of the aft cabin. The hull is made of pitchpine on oak, and the planks run continuously over the entire length of the ship. The ship was sailed along the English coast until the mid-90s and was sold to the current owner in 1997. Since then, it has been cruising on the waterways and coastal waters of northern and eastern Germany - from the Elbe to the Müritz, Rügen, and Usedom. In recent years, WANDA has been sailed on the Elbe and the Oste, where the shipyard and its berth are located. Inside the ship, dark wood and mahogany dominate, WANDA has a closed cabin used as a salon, a small pantry, a spacious wheelhouse, a toilet, and a cozy cabin with berths in the bow. WANDA spends every winter in the shipyard, where superstructures, deck, and underwater hull are painted. Engines, gearbox, and electrics are overhauled multiple times and meticulously maintained, the batteries and diesel tank are new. The ship is ready to sail and equipped with all necessary items from lines and fenders to life jackets and fire extinguishers. Have we piqued your interest?
