Description

Beautiful and unique sailing yacht with a steel hull built by De Vries Lentsch shipyard 't Fort. The ketch rig provides many trimming options. Both the genoa and the staysail are roller furling. The deck is spacious and equipped with teak. The mainsail is hoisted at the mast, with grab rails around the mast for extra safety. There is an electric anchor windlass on the foredeck. The sheltered cockpit is spacious with seating under the fixed sprayhood. Various winches for operating the headsails are placed on the cockpit edge, with a mainsheet traveler for mainsail trimming. The steering position is centrally located in the cockpit with the mizzen mast. The cockpit can be fully covered with a cockpit tent. Under the fixed sprayhood, there is joystick steering, navigation equipment, and space for nautical charts. Davits are installed at the stern for carrying a dinghy. The deck equipment is robust, with beautiful wooden accents and chrome air vents. Since 2021, the current owner has renewed several parts, such as the cockpit tent, sails, Dickinson diesel heater, shrouds, glass of the portholes, stove, and service batteries. The powerful 212 hp Steyr diesel engine was installed in 2000 and underwent a full service in 2023. The boat is equipped for long sea voyages, and a comfortable stay for an extended period is easily achievable. The interior has a luxurious appearance thanks to the beautifully varnished woodwork and leather-upholstered benches. The U-shaped galley is located to starboard right next to the cabin entrance, with a gimbaled stove, cool box, storage space, double sink, and even an extractor hood. To port is a cabin with a bed, lockable with a sliding door. Access from the galley to the salon is through a double door. The backrest of the salon bench can be folded up to create a spacious sea berth. Excellent natural light enters through the deck hatch and a series of portholes. Additionally, there is a sturdy wooden salon table and a convenient crockery cabinet. The double doors help retain the heat from the Dickinson diesel heater inside. The forward cabin is lockable with a door and has a double bed to starboard and a bunk with lee cloth to port. Between the beds is a leather-upholstered bench and a small dressing table. Between the salon and the forward cabin, to starboard, is a wet room with a toilet, sink, and shower. Opposite the wet room, to port, is a spacious hanging locker.
