Description

For sale on behalf of the customer is this special sailing yacht of the Nora 850 SD type from the years 1991 to 1998, with the first launch taking place in 1998. This sailing yacht is a unique piece with a lot of attention to detail. Specifications: Overall length: approx. 8.55 m Waterline length: approx. 7.50 m Beam: approx. 2.93 m Draft: approx. 0.65 m to 1.82 m (swing keel) Rudder: Double hydraulic rudder system Weight: approx. 4 tons Designer: Hein/Hübner Engine: Perkins 3-cylinder type Parma M 30 with shaft The sailing yacht was built by its current owner using traditional boatbuilding craftsmanship and has been sailed every year since for holidays and weekend trips. The sailing yacht has been moored in a small club harbor in Bremen on the Weser River since its first launch. The construction of the sailing yacht attracted a lot of attention. The magazine "Palstek" enthusiastically reported on this beautiful sailing yacht back in June 1998. Construction: Hull form-glued with 4 layers of 2.8 mm Sipo knife veneer, keel and stem made of glued oak. All fittings including reinforcements are coated with WEST epoxy, with additional fabric covering the surfaces. There are 2 stringers (30 x 40 mm) made of Oregon on each side of the ship. The beam shelf has dimensions of 35 x 80 mm and is made of Sipo. The construction of the hull, deck, superstructure, and interior was described as "good" in a 1997 appraisal. The ship above the waterline is sprayed with a 2-component lacquer. The deck and superstructures are made of high-quality 12 mm plywood, sprayed, and coated with non-slip paint on the walking surfaces. According to the aforementioned appraisal, the entire construction quality on deck is excellent. The sailing yacht was last repainted in June 2017. Interior and layout: Below deck, to the left of the companionway, there is a well-equipped pantry with a sink, three-burner gas stove, and electric cool box. A large underfloor cabin with closets and a spacious double berth is available on the port side. To starboard, there is a toilet room with a hand basin. The salon is spacious with a bench on each side at starboard and port. In the middle, there is a table that integrates the keel box. The bow cabin has a V-berth for two more people. The berth size in the bow cabin is approximately 1.40 m x 2.00 m. The headroom below deck is approximately 1.85 m. The cabin is built with a very noble dark wood but appears bright and inviting due to the large side windows. The owner, a master carpenter himself, has considered and implemented many refinements in the interior design. You will be surprised by the many possibilities that this sailing yacht offers during a viewing. Technical equipment: -Careful electrical installation according to VDE standard -3 batteries of 100 AH each (keel hydraulics, engine, onboard network) -Keel hydraulics with digital display in the cockpit -iCom radio -Radio -Navigation lights -Autopilot -Chartplotter -Television -Usual nautical instruments such as log, depth sounder, wind gauge, compass, etc. -Heating (Trumatic gas heater) Sailing equipment: -Mainsail -Self-tacking jib -Gennaker -Furling system All halyards are redirected aft to the cockpit. According to the owner, the sails are in an intact, sail-worthy condition. Keel: The sailing yacht is equipped with a lead swing keel, making it ideal for use in the Wadden Sea or shallow water areas. The keel box is made of V4A stainless steel. The keel moves around a 40 mm keel bolt and can be operated either electrically or manually. The owner and builder of this sailing yacht wants to part with the yacht due to age reasons, which is why it is now being offered for sale and is looking for a new owner. This sailing yacht is a unique piece with numerous refinements, which we would be happy to present to you personally during a viewing. Have we piqued your interest? If you are seriously interested in purchasing this sailing yacht, feel free to convince yourself in person.
