For sale on behalf of the customer is this classic 20s racing dinghy -Elfriede-, which was probably built around 1930 in the Böhling shipyard. The racing dinghy is offered including a 2.7-ton Wick trailer from 2011. Complete gutting of the interior: The old paint was completely sanded off, new paintwork on the hull Cabin: Sanding of the ceiling, repainted, complete removal of the wood paneling (lockers and shelves), sanded, repainted and reinstalled, drawers and doors partly a bit stiff Bulkhead newly inserted Superstructures: -New handrail -Mast and boom - old varnish removed, repainted -Rubbing strake newly attached History: Unfortunately, no registered sail number could be found with the German Sailing Association. The following information comes from private research by the current owners: The racing dinghy was originally sailed in the 1960s on Spiekeroog under the name Freibeuter. According to the previous owner, the racing dinghy was probably built on the Elbe. Furthermore, through conversations with sailors, the assumption arose that it could be a Böhling design from around the early 1930s. Bought in the mid-1990s by a resident of Dorum (Cuxhaven district) In 2006, the racing dinghy passed into the ownership of the current owners. Have we piqued your interest?
