Prior to crossing the Atlantic, significant upgrades were made to the sails, electronics, upholstery, and electrical systems. One of the most notable improvements was the removal of the central saloon bench, allowing for a substantially larger galley, expanded navigation station, additional storage drawers, and increased refrigeration capacity. The result is a far more practical and comfortable platform for long-term cruising and remote work. In March 2025, the vessel was purchased in Martinique by her current owner, who completed an extensive Caribbean cruise with his wife and three adult children, visiting the ABC Islands, Colombia, San Blas, Panama, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, the Cayman Islands, and Jamaica before arriving in the Dominican Republic. While in Guatemala, a known weak point of Bavaria yachts of this era, the deck-to-hull joint, was professionally addressed. The joint was opened, resealed, and glassed over three times before the hull sides and deck were repainted and polished. The result is a stronger, stiffer, and completely dry structure. This modification also eliminated the original wooden rub rail and toe rail, replacing them with a cleaner and lighter fiberglass finish. The vessel was fully surveyed in 2025, with all survey recommendations subsequently completed. T
