This Dufour 30 Classic from 1999 is an attractive used sailing boat for those who wish to sail comfortably on lakes, rivers, ponds, and coastal waters. With a length of 8.99 meters, a beam of 3 meters, and a draft of 1.55 meters, it offers a beautiful combination of sailing performance, maneuverability, and living space. The round hull shape, aluminum mast, and tiller steering provide a classic sailing experience. The Dufour 30 Classic has been used for day trips, weekend getaways, and longer vacations. Its previous owner has sailed her on the IJsselmeer, the Wadden Sea, in Zeeland, and on the Braassemermeer. She has proven herself as a versatile cruising sailboat for both sheltered inland waters and broader sailing areas. Everyone can place bids until September 21, 2026. How much living space and sleeping comfort does she offer? Inside, this Dufour features a practical layout with a headroom of approximately 1.75 meters. In the bow is a double berth and there is also space for two people in the aft cabin. In the salon are two benches around a table where two extra sleeping places can be created, allowing the boat to accommodate four fixed and two additional sleeping places in total. The cabin is designed for comfortable stays during vacations and weekends. It includes a galley with stove, oven, refrigerator, and storage space. Additionally, mattresses are present along with a chart table and a separate wet cell. The manual toilet discharges directly into open water. The water tank has a capacity of 180 liters and the diesel tank holds up to 80 liters of fuel. Thanks to these amenities, she is suitable for independent living aboard, especially when you enjoy being on the move for several days at a time. What engine and technical facilities are present? The boat is equipped with a Volvo Penta MD2020 inboard diesel engine from 1999. This three-cylinder engine delivers 19 hp and features a saildrive. The indicated running hours are approximately 1,000 hours. The engine runs smoothly and consumes no more than about one liter of diesel per hour at normal cruising speed. Her cruising speed is around 9 kilometers per hour with a maximum speed of approximately 12.5 kilometers per hour. In 2026, the engine oil, oil filter, and impeller were replaced. The engine starts electrically and is supported by an alternator for charging the batteries. On board are two batteries with a total capacity of 140 Ah. Furthermore, she comes with a battery charger, shore power connection with cable, and a 12V electrical system. The main switches are located in the aft cabin while the control panel is placed outside. What sails and navigation equipment do you get? The sail plan consists of a mainsail, roller genoa (rolfok), and an asymmetrical spinnaker (halfwinder). The mainsail and roller genoa are part of the standard equipment. The spinnaker is an additional sail that does not originally belong to this Dufour model. The sails are in reasonable condition and together provide opportunities for relaxed cruising as well as more sporty sailing. In 2025, a new roller genoa system and new forestay were installed. For navigation and control while underway there are instruments including compass, depth sounder (dieptemeter), log (speedometer), tachometer (toerenteller), fuel tank gauge (brandstoftankmeter), oil pressure gauge (oliedrukmeter), and temperature gauge (temperatuurmeter). There is also radar on board along with VHF radio (marifoon). The old GPS unit is present but no longer functions properly; additionally, the wind meter is defective. Some ceiling lights may not always work properly—these points should be taken into consideration when assessing the boat. What deck features and relaxation options are available? Outside, the Dufour 30 Classic boasts a spacious cockpit with cockpit cushions and an individual cockpit table. The cockpit tent provides extra shelter making it possible to dry wet items outside of the cabin. Additionally included are a bimini top (buiskap), tarps (dekzeilen), lifelines (zeerailing), fenders (stootwillen), lines (lijnen), swim platform (zwemplatform), and swim ladder (zwemtrap). The self-draining cockpit along with an electric bilge pump enhances practical use aboard. Included with the boat are also a manually operated anchor windlass (ankerlier), an anchor with chain and line (anjer met ketting en lijn), VHF radio (marifoon), lifeline (lifeline) along with original Dufour plates (boorden), glasses (glazen) and bowls (kommetjes). A Hydro Force dinghy comes along as well; this tender shows clear signs of use but accommodates two adults and two children—though it may be cramped for four people—and features a Mercury outboard motor from 2020 with 3.5 hp. What documents and maintenance information are available? Included with the boat are a yard certificate (werfcertificaat), purchase contract from the previous owner as well as various manuals including those for the sailboat itself, Volvo Penta engine manual, along with descriptions of onboard components. The boat has always been removed from water during winter months; in 2026 it was taken out for maintenance where it received an antifouling treatment on its underwater hull. According to available information there are no signs of osmosis present. The current owner has had her since 2009 performing most maintenance himself; during winter months he cleaned and treated the underwater hull while preparing the engine for winter storage; come springtime attention was given to above-water hull maintenance. The Dufour 30 Classic currently lies at Braassemermeer being sold due to less frequent use over recent years. This comfortable sailing boat awaits its new owner who can once again enjoy relaxed sailing adventures or family vacations aboard her!
