Indeed this example was previous owned by professional superyacht's Captain..The current owners, ourselves, are 2 octagenarian sailors with over a hundred years experience between them. The elder (myself) had many years successful racing experience and along wife his wife did a 14 year circumnavigation. Although our ownership ws brief I used my vast experienced to make many improvements.She has heating hot and cold water and benefiting from significant equipment upgrades by the previous owner 2022/2023 including:A high-spec fully-battened mainsail by Dart Sails, with Rutgerson roller luff cars.A Harken Mk IV furling system for the headsail.A Eberspacher heating system installed.A Starlight gas cooker with grill & oven by Dometic.A Raymarine 'Element' 7HV plotter.A icom Class B AIS TransponderConstructionDesigned by Martin Sadler and built by Sadler Yachts Ltd to a hull design incorporating PU foam core to provide positive buoyancy in the event of a hull breach, with a consequential benefit of being unsinkable but also a degree of thermal insulation and straightforward wipe-down surfaces internally. The Sadler 34 design is fitted with a cast iron external fin keel and skeg supported rudder and is tiller steered for a more direct sailing feel and much better utility of space within the cockpit and has the shallower 1.48m 'Shoal keel’Mechanical EngineFitted with a replacement Bukh DV24ME 24HP diesel engine in early 2016. This was a refurbished little used lifeboat engine and has behaved impeccably during current ownershipCurrently indicating only around 920 hours run from newly refurbished.Speedseal easy change impeller cover Shaft drive to a fixed, 3 bladed propellerCarried on board are a substantial amount of useful engine spares and service parts which include recently refurbished alternator and starter motor.Electrical Systems:Three lead acid batteries are fitted within dedicated storage recesses formed within the aft cabin's internal moulding: 2 x 115 A/hr capacity batteries for 'Domestic and Services' bank, with a separate 105A/hr battery for engine cranking. (All batteries were new in 2021)Batteries charged by engine-driven alternator and a Pro-Charge Ultra 12v/20A battery charger by Sterling Power for use when the vessel is connected to electrical shore support. A Pro-Split R splitter, again by Sterling Power is fitted to enhance the alternator's output chargeA Nasa BM-1 Compact display is fitted at the chart table to monitor the batteries' state of charge.Water System Hot and cold pressurized water system to all taps.Calorifier for water heating.Fresh and Saltwater hand pump to galley sink.Tankage:Fuel: Approx. 25 gallons (112 litres) diesel carried in a stainless steel tank located toward the rear of the cockpit locker. Provided with a sight-gauge and a low-fuel warning light; the latter fitted alongside the companionway. This is faulty and is permanently lit. Needs troubleshooting.Freshwater: Approx. 50 gallons (200 litres) freshwater carried within a flexible, bladder tank amidships beneath the starboard settee berth and a large spare water carrier in aft cockpit locker.Holding tank: GRP tank located under the forward cabin's port-hand berth of unknown capacity, but with a clear inspection hatch to view the content's level.Mast Rigging and Sails Mast and Spars Rigged as a single spreader masthead sloop with a Harken Mk IV headsail furling system (fitted new in 2022).S/S standing rigging last replaced in April 2016Mechanical backstay adjuster.Alloy, fixed-length spinnaker pole.Running rigging and reefing lines (all in good condition) are led aft to cockpit and handled by a variety of Lewmar winches, with the headsail sheet primary winches being self-tailing Lewmar 43 winches. A two outlet hot air heater by Eberspacher was fitted in 2022.Speakers in cockpit replaced 2025 Could be removed and holes repaired or left in situForward cabin:Two berths, formed in a 'Vee' can provide a double berth using an in-fill cushion.Open shelving alongside berth. Under berth lockers are lined (dry) storage lockers used for light wind sail storage. Additional removable storage nets have been provided to hang from beneath the deck head. Hanging locker, dedicated to the forward cabin is provided to starboard. Opening overhead deckhatch (a recent replacement) for light and ventilation.Heads:Heads compartment extends across the beam of the hull forward of the mast, with doors ahead and to the main bulkhead for privacy. A Jabsco 'Twist n Lock' marine flushing toilet is fitted, connected to a holding tank. Hot and cold water via a shower faucet to a moulded hand basin.Toilet has a facility to pump to sea or holding tank. The holding tank has a manual pump forward of the toilet to empty it, handle in cupboard above toilet.Shower sump with 12v drain pump. All sea valves in this compartment are of the Blakes, tapered seacock design and double clipped. Hanging locker to starboard for oilskins, life-jackets and harnesses. Ventilation is provided by two 'Tannoy' ventilites overhead.Main Saloon: U-Shaped seating to port providing either a settee berth or convertible to a double using an in-filling panel
