Description

This aluminum/steel yacht STIC 36, designed by Horst Stichnoth, with a variable draft of 1.10 / 2.10 m, is in a technically flawless and well-maintained condition. The refit was completed in September 2024 and included the following works: All wooden parts in the cockpit and exterior were stripped, sanded, and coated six times with Ovatrol D1 / D2 varnish. The old paint was removed from the deck and superstructure, repainted with Wilckens two-component paint. The underwater hull was sanded, and a new antifouling coat was applied. Thanks to the lifting keel, it sails reliably on open waters (North / Baltic Sea) as well as on inland waters (Wannsee, Müritz) and can easily dry out. Its sailing area is significantly expanded! The yacht is equipped with necessary comforts, including a spacious and cozy salon with a Dickinson diesel stove, two aft berths ideal for sleeping during longer sea passages, a new Raymarine autopilot, and hull insulation, making it perfect for extended journeys. This STIC 36 is now ready for a new adventure! The hull is made of shipbuilding steel, the deck, superstructure, and cockpit are made of aluminum, ensuring maximum stability and strength at an acceptable weight. Both materials are galvanically separated with an insulating layer. The interior is mostly mahogany wood. There are 3 diesel tanks with a total volume of approximately 500 liters on board. The headroom below deck is about 1.95 m. There are a total of 6/5 berths – three fixed, two in the bow area, one in the quarter berth, and two berths in the (converted) seating area – accommodating larger crews. A current survey is available!
