Description

Equipped for long-distance sailing - 5 cabins, 10 berths - Upgraded for approx. DKK 400,000 Is your dream to explore foreign horizons and escape the stress and hustle of daily life? Then buy this Bavaria 51 Cruiser, equipped and ready for long-distance sailing. The boat has just returned to Denmark from a 14-month voyage in September 2024, and is more or less ready to set sail again! The current owner acquired the boat in 2021 and began equipping it for their dream trip with departure in 2023. Significant investments have been made in the boat before departure and along the way. Highlights include: Elvstrøm genoa Phillipi electrical panel Watermaker Battery bank: consumption 800 AH, lithium / start 100 AH, AGM Solar panels Autopilot Chartplotter Targa arch AB RIB with Yamaha 25 HP outboard motor (total set price approx. DKK 80,000) Offshore life raft EPIRB Extra winch Bottom treated with Hempels Silic One INTERIOR LAYOUT This cruiser has a fantastic layout below deck. You will find a total of 10 berths in 5 cabins: 2 aft cabins with double beds, 2 bunk cabins in the corridor, and a forward Owner's Cabin with a double bed. The heart of the boat, the salon, is furnished with a large U-shaped sofa with a table on the starboard side, a U-shaped galley, and a navigation area on the port side. Originally, the boat had 3 bathrooms, but the current owner has converted one of them into a large storage room for dive tanks and other gear. There is full headroom throughout and plenty of natural light from the many skylights and windows in the hull. All cabins have at least 2 opening windows, which is a great advantage when sailing in warmer climates as it allows for good ventilation. ON DECK AND IN THE COCKPIT Large cockpit with twin wheels, making it much more open to move around in. Plenty of deck space, which is useful for sunbathing and storing SUP boards, extra jerry cans, etc. Access from the cockpit to a large bathing platform with a ladder. The cockpit has a newer sprayhood with large windows, a bimini, and a targa arch with a dinghy hoist. The owner has purchased extra-large self-tailing winches for the genoa sheets, which have also been replaced. The cockpit and deck are teak laid. The owner is currently sanding the teak, as shown in the pictures. SAILS AND ENGINE The boat's sail wardrobe consists of a furling mainsail and a furling genoa, both from Elvstrøm, with the genoa from 2023. The engine is a Volvo Penta, model D2-75F, delivering 75 HP. Additionally, there is a bow thruster from SIDE-POWER, making maneuvering in the harbor a breeze. ----- The boat is packed with equipment - including what a long-distance sailor values! A detailed list of equipment can be found further down the page under "Specifications." The Bavaria 51 Cruiser is, of course, CE-approved Class A, meaning it is ocean-going and can sail the world's oceans. VAT receipt included.
