Description

REDUCED PRICE FOR QUICK SALE The original owner and builder of this masterpiece, crafted with love and strength, has reached his senior years and is no longer able to handle her alone in open waters. Therefore, ALL OFFERS will be considered. This Bruce Roberts 44 was built and launched in 2000 using only the best materials, systems, and quality available in Sweden. This particular Roberts design is renowned for its sea-kind motion, providing a smooth ride even in the steepest waves. Constructed with mild steel plating: 6mm keel, 4mm chines, and 3mm deck, along with 700mm spaced transversal frames. Both the interior and exterior were meticulously done, with all surfaces sandblasted and coated with high-quality International Epoxy-Tar. The interior is fully insulated above the waterline with 30mm of top-quality and fire-proof sprayed foam. Featuring a Swan Nautor 20m rig with hydraulic in-mast furling and rod rigging, showcasing the exceptional quality and reliability of the design. Sail wardrobe includes: - Mainsail: 50m2 Vertec fabric by Lundsails with vertical battens - Rollerfurl genoa: 50m2 (120%) dacron by Lundsails - NEW and UNUSED rollerfurl genoa: 50m2 (120%) dacron by Ocean - Cruising nylon gennaker with sock The in-mast mainsail is hydraulically operated from the cockpit, and the genoa is controlled through a Furlex 300 system. Powered by a freshwater-cooled 64Hp Mercedes OM615 Diesel engine with a 3:1 Hurtz gearbox driving a shafted 3-bladed bronze propeller, achieving a maximum speed of 7 knots at 2500 rpms. Accommodations comprise two cabins, with the master cabin located aft of the cockpit featuring a large bunk (1600x2000mm) and a v-berth in the forward cabin. The head is equipped with an electric Jabsco Toilet. A hot-water shower and bath tub have been installed but not connected.
