Description

Mouni is a Laurinkoster 32 MKII, built in Sweden in 1976, long keel, robust, well balanced sailboat. An upgraded version of this classic boat with electric inboard, lithium batteries, SilicOne non toxic antifouling and compost dry toilet. A bowsprit was also added from the original plan, improving directional stability and offering more versatility as a cutter. The electric is a Thoosa 7000 from eClean Marine. Two lithium batteries Mastervolt MLI Ultra 24/5000 (worth aprox. 7000€/each) wired in series for a system of 180Ah at 48v. Mastervolt Charger of 60A y solar panels also Mastervolt (2x200w) for a system of 400W at 24V that charges aprox 20% of the battery capacity on a sunny day. Also included a touchscreen monitor in cabin and the morse on the cockpit. The 12v Conversor for the interior lights, VHF, AIS, fridge, is also Mastervolt. With this engine configuration, in ideal conditions, the boat con go at around 3kn during aprox 10 hours. There is on board a Honda gasoline generator that can allow to expand range if desired. Mastervolt has a good troubleshooting service, allowing remote connection to the system just wiring the computer on board. The radio is a VHF Standard Horizon GX2000 with external unity on cockpit. AIS True Heading ctrx Graphene Plus with antenna splitter (you can connect Ipad or plotter) EPIRB Liferaft from 2019 (needs service) plotter Garmin 420 (a bit old...i’ve been using Navionics on the phone lately) Autopilot Autohelm2000 Main sail full batten with two reefs in decent condition Genoa, Jibb in very good condition, specially the Jibb, that can be reefed to a Storm Jib, litterally used only twice. All sails with cover (including a sock for the furling genoa , Furlex system) all ropes lead to cockpit, under rigid doghouse. Mast in aluminium (original was fiberglass) aprox 50cm shorter and with bigger section, through cabin, stepped on keel. Interior was refurbished to have a permanent double berth port of the saloon, with a single berth starboard. And another single berth under the starboard cockpit. Vberth being storage room and place for the compost toilet. Only one trough hull hole on the cabin for the galley sink (with electric pump). Origo 3000 alcohol two burners. New plexiglass windows, dry boat, no mold, good ventilation. New policarbonate for the doghouse New deck antislip paint 15kg Rocna with aprox 50m of chain and 20m rope. Parachute anchor Rigid dinghy with oars that can be stored in top of the cabin. ropes, fenders, kitchenware, lifejacket.. I’ve had the boat just for a year, spending the summer/autumn season around balearics. Family situation suggests me to stay more on land and I prefer to pass Mouni to other loving hands that can sail her more often, further, and make her happier. Actually can be viewed in Sant Carles de la Rapita (180km south of Barcelona, at Delta del Ebro). I expect to go to the boatyard soon and apply two new coats of Antifouling SilicOne ( I have already the tins on board) and varnish some exterior wooden parts (cockpit table, tiller…).
