Just go for it ...believe me, you won't find a more solid, travel-ready, safe, honest, and consistently well-equipped boat for inland waters, the Wadden Sea, and the North Sea at a more affordable price, thanks to its shallow draft and mast lowering system! I will be near the boat on 23rd-24th August 2025. I want to start using my beautiful mooring spot in Urk with my new boat as soon as possible. Therefore, the price has been drastically reduced to 2500€ if you take the boat within a week. After having roamed the seas of the Netherlands, Great Britain, and Helgoland for 9 years with this boat, I have luckily upgraded to a larger vessel. Now, my beloved Chançard (which translates to Lucky One) needs to find another sailing enthusiast. Yes, it's emotionally challenging for me because I have experienced a lot during this time, mostly single-handed and in all kinds of weather - even facing an officially confirmed breaking monster wave near Norderney (no problem, just got completely wet all of a sudden), but now it has to be done. WiBo 835 populaire, 8.35x2.78m, clearance height approx. 11m, draft 1m. Radio with GPS, 2 depth sounders, new starter battery, fairly new AGM deep discharge 140Ah consumer battery, up to 5 berths, 5kW diesel heater with separate tank (works in any position!). Jütt for mast lowering. New sprayhood, new boom cover. Shore power according to DIN standard. Plastic water tank 80L, electric pump for sink. Prepared for the future: All through-hulls have been welded shut except for cooling water, a greywater tank at the sink, chemical toilet. Tiller pilot. Spare tiller. All lines led to the cockpit, fully single-handed capable. Large cooler. 800W inverter to 220V. Sails: 2x mainsail, 2x roller genoa. Condition: Main in very good condition, genoas older but refreshed by sailmaker and good for the next few years. Spare mainsail not tested. 2-burner butane gas stove, hoses renewed. Swim ladder. Interior and navigation lights front/rear: LED. Engine: 20HP Albin AD 21 (has its own fan group on Facebook, allegedly you can get everything, I replaced the starter about 8 years ago). Engine always takes about 25s for the first start on weekends or at the beginning of holidays, then runs like a charm. Why so cheap? You should: Replace anodes, work on some rust spots on the gunwale and around the windows, replace engine hatch, paint deck and jütt, check steaming light, mend cover around genoa, renew antifouling. Crack in starboard window patched a few years ago with stable splinter protection film (not pretty, but functional and I would leave it as is). I can provide enough film upon request. But you can also just set sail and do it later. Important: I have invested until the last moment, as it was uncertain whether I would actually buy a new boat. Ready to sail! I completely sanded the hull about 8 years ago, applied 7 layers of epoxy 2k, 2 layers of vinyl as an additional barrier, 2 layers of International antifouling. Rudder and skeg hot-dip galvanized. Everything up to the gunwale in 2k - Behnke colors. Probably couldn't be better. For me, it was and still is the perfect entry-level boat to get fit for sailing. If you search for WiBo835 on YouTube, you will find some videos of mine. What mattered to me: Headroom (approx. 1.85m) and safety. Steel, developed by Van de Stad! Fixed price: including customs tools for the engine, 2 spare impellers, solid life jackets. Warranty: at this price, none. However, thorough testing can be done once the purchase is confirmed. I am also available for questions after the purchase. On the water, friends are always needed! The boat is located in Urk, Netherlands, at the pavilion in Box 81 in the West Harbor (always well guarded by residents). 5 berths, where even taller people (1.85m) can sleep comfortably! Fair winds!
