NEWLY VARNISHED WOODWORK * MAIN ENGINE OVERHAULED BY BUKH IN 2017 * NEAT AND WELL-MAINTAINED -Danish classic boatbuilder quality -A well-proven and seaworthy construction -Sail drive with new 3-blade fixed propeller -Really neat, both below deck and on deck An LM28 is a classic Danish vessel from Lunderskov Marine. Hence the name "LM". The shipyard was known for building classic and very solid motor sailboats. The LM28 has been built in countless copies and is widely known for its unique combination of a wheelhouse and an open cockpit. A lovely, seaworthy, and safe vessel for all types of weather. On board this fine vessel, there is good space and headroom packed into a very nice layout. A layout that invites sun and summer. At the same time, the vessel is also suitable for situations where it's just nice to be below deck and comfortably sail her from a closed wheelhouse. INTERIOR AND COMFORT: This vessel stands out with its exceptionally fine woodwork below deck and in the cockpit. The current owner has recently carried out a very large and beautiful piece of work. Virtually all woodwork has been sanded down and subsequently coated with up to 5 layers of varnish. All woodwork shines in the sun, and it is truly a pleasure to look at. Additionally, the cushion covers have been replaced with new quality fabric from "Kvadrat". The foam in the salon cushions is also brand new. Everything is therefore very inviting and clean. The feeling of a super orderly vessel is experienced as soon as you step on board. The LM28's hallmark is the combination of a closed wheelhouse and an open cockpit. The two windows and the door between the two fine spaces can be slid down to create a completely open space. It is super elegant and cleverly done, with the door simply sliding down into the floor in front of the engine room. At the helm in the wheelhouse, there is a very nice view. There is a panoramic view through the large beautiful windows. Above the helmsman's seat, there is a view through a large skylight that can be slid to the side. Here, one can let in all the light or stand up to steer and look out over the vessel in the fresh air. The cockpit table can be folded down completely or set up with a single click. It can also be unfolded to double its size. This provides plenty of seating and dining space for 6 people. The galley is centrally located in the wheelhouse, separated from the salon. Down below deck, one experiences good light and supportive cushions with new foam and upholstery. The backrests on both sofas in the salon are hinged. They can be folded up and locked, allowing the two sleeping places on the sofas on both sides to be extended. Space for bedding is found behind the backrests when they are folded down during the day. At the front of the vessel, the sailing couple will find their own cabin with a double berth. Access is through a folding door, which saves space and is simply smarter than a traditional door. Of course, there is also a nice enclosed toilet room with a sink and running water. It is noticeable that the engine is located very conveniently in the cockpit. It is in its own engine well with a separate fiberglass cover, which is again located under a hinged plate in the floor. This is a really nice solution that ensures effective noise reduction. At the same time, this placement ensures that there is never a diesel smell below deck in the salon. A really nice thing for comfort on board. EQUIPMENT AND MAINTENANCE: The current owners have had the vessel since 2021. They have taken good care of it and are only selling it because they are now choosing to "come ashore". The engine, a classic Bukh DV 20, was majorly repaired in 2017. In this connection, new pistons, liners, clutch, and gear were installed. A new starter motor was also fitted in 2022, and a 3-blade propeller was added in 2021. The engine has been serviced every year by its current owner. The latest service was in the spring of 2024 with a new impeller, engine and gear oil, as well as fuel and oil filters. The hull has been painted every year by the current owner. Most recently in the spring of 2024 with self-polishing antifouling paint from Hempel. The cockpit tent is also new from 2022. There is also a winter cover for the cockpit from 2021. Both are from "Schultz" in Kolding. In 2022 and 2023, virtually all woodwork has been sanded and varnished up to 5 times. This includes the salon, fore cabin, wheelhouse, and cockpit. The salon cushions have new foam, and all the vessel's cushions have new covers from "Kvadrat". The deck is non-slip in a nice gray color, and all gelcoat surfaces are in good condition with few signs of use. A teak platform has also been retrofitted in the bow. Here, there is space for the anchor and for the integrated bow ladder. WELCOME ON BOARD: Such a fine and well-maintained vessel must naturally be seen and experienced with your own eyes. She is completely ready for sailing and quick takeover. We look forward to hearing from you and showing you this beautiful vessel.
