At the turn of the millennium, the traditional boatyard Bootsbau Rügen GmbH from Lauterbach, in collaboration with designer Georg Nissen, revamped its model range. This led to the creation of the Vilm 101 and Vilm 111 yachts. These are modern, seaworthy vessels crafted to the high standards of boatbuilding quality. In contrast to the common designation "motor sailor," the water sports magazine YACHT referred to the Vilm 101 as a "motor-sailing yacht" in its test report (issue 06/2000). Within the niche market of motor sailors, this model stands out with significantly better sailing characteristics while still retaining typical motor sailor features such as safety, a solid deckhouse, and powerful engine performance. With a draft of only 1.35 m and a beam of 3.25 m, the Vilm 101 is well-suited for cruising along the German Baltic coast and in Denmark's archipelago, making it the perfect cruising yacht for a couple. The two-cabin layout and exclusive, beautifully crafted mahogany interior provide ample comfort, space, and storage. Noteworthy is the excellent quality of the fiberglass work, technical installations, and craftsmanship throughout the vessel, even in corners that are not immediately visible. Here is a private second-hand ownership yacht for sale. Although the Vilm 101 sails under Swedish flag, it has only been sailed along Germany's North and Baltic coasts. This fully equipped cruising yacht features a roller mast, bow thruster, folding propeller, modern RAYMARINE navigation electronics, as well as TV and satellite antenna. The generously sized VOLVO PENTA MD2040 inboard diesel engine provides ample propulsion and ensures a smooth and comfortable cruising experience. The Vilm 101 is in very well-maintained condition; it has been stored indoors every winter and has received regular technical maintenance. Notably, the interior shows minimal signs of use and is practically like new. The yacht is currently located on Fehmarn Island in indoor storage and can be viewed there by appointment.
