Everyone can bid until August 24, 2026. What makes this Martin 29 special? Its classic design, spacious interior, and combination of suitability for both inland and offshore waters make this Martin 29 appealing to enthusiasts of distinctive cabin cruisers. The bulbous hull gives it a stable character while the hull shape also ensures pleasant speed according to the owner. The air draft is approximately 11.5 meters. Therefore, many fixed bridges in Dutch waterways are not a limitation, including the Hollandsche Brug and the Stichtse Brug, depending on current waterway conditions. The boat is in reasonable condition and was out of the water in 2025. That year it received primer and three layers of antifouling paint. Additionally, the Yanmar diesel engine has been serviced. The fuel tank, including sensor and gauge, as well as the bilge pumps have been replaced. There are no known issues with osmosis or signs of osmosis present. The last antifouling treatment also dates from 2025. How is the interior arranged? Inside it boasts a standing height of approximately 1.90 meters, which offers surprisingly ample space for a boat of this size. The accommodation consists of a spacious saloon with dining area, galley, and sleeping options. There are two fixed berths with space for two additional sleeping places. In the bow area one or two people can sleep while the saloon can provide three to four berths depending on the layout. The galley has been newly fitted out professionally. It features a two-burner spirit stove, stainless steel sink, ample countertop space, and an electric faucet. Numerous storage options make it suitable for longer stays on board. The upholstery and cushions are finished in white/cream sky fabric. The toilet is located in a separate space with a small sink. The manual toilet is connected to a 40-liter waste tank. The freshwater tank has a capacity of 100 liters. What engine does the Martin 29 have? For propulsion it is equipped with an inboard Yanmar 3GM30 diesel engine from 1998. This three-cylinder engine has an output of 24 hp and starts electrically. The engine is operational and draws fuel from a 45-liter tank. The serial number is 09298. There is also an onboard battery for electrical provisions along with shore power included in the equipment. The boat further includes a fuel gauge along with various navigation and communication equipment onboard such as an autopilot, depth sounder, chart plotter, compass, log/speedometer, VHF radio, and wind meter. Some equipment is from Navman supplemented by a GPS system, barometer, and multiple display panels in the cockpit. Functionality of systems is unknown. How does the rigging and sails stand? The sail package consists of mainsail, genoa, large jib, small jib, and storm jib. The sails are in reasonable condition providing flexibility for various wind strengths. Control can take place from the cockpit which is practical during sailing as well as when changing sail configurations; however rigging lines need to be replaced soon as does the old cover. On deck there are GEBO windows all around along with a manual bilge pump and an anchor with chain present. Its combination of classic appearance, usable accommodation along with available navigation makes it interesting for those looking for an affordable cabin cruiser with its own character. This Martin 29 awaits an owner who will use her attentively and care for her further. She offers space for peaceful journeys as well as sporty sailing days and vacations on the water. Thanks to her pleasant interior layout, generous standing height, diesel engine capabilities along with versatile sail plan she represents a complete vessel with clear points that new owners can address. Through Boatauction you have the opportunity to assess her yourself and place an appropriate bid.
