Bayliner 4588 Pilothouse in well-maintained and updated condition. The Bayliner 4588 Pilothouse is Bayliner's former flagship, built with a focus on quality, space, and a functional layout. The measurement certificate from when the boat was new shows a length of 13.82 meters and a gross tonnage of 19.9. This Bayliner 4588 Pilothouse is Danish from new and was produced in 1990/1991. It is a European 220V model and has undergone extensive renovation and updates over the years. Since 2015, according to the renovation history, over 1.4 million DKK has been invested in the boat, primarily carried out at a shipyard, with a detailed maintenance log kept. The Bayliner 4588 Pilothouse features a pilothouse with a steering station and seating area, a large and spacious salon, an expansive flybridge, a generous master cabin, and two guest cabins. The layout makes the boat suitable for longer stays on board and for space-demanding families. It is also highly suitable as a liveaboard, student accommodation, summer house on the water, or for cruising purposes and can be used for a combination of these purposes. The salon is spacious with a large seating area and an open living space where the kitchen/pantry allows for cooking while engaging with the rest of the crew. Here you will find an electric stove with three burners, an electric oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, sink, and wine cooler. From the salon, there is access to the aft deck and further to the swim platform, providing a natural connection between the boat's indoor and outdoor living areas. The smaller cabin has been renovated and set up as a TV room, while the salon and pilothouse have had their sofas reupholstered along with lounge chairs and captain's chair. The pilothouse has also been renovated with new flooring and an overhaul of the instrument panel. Below deck there is approximately 2 meters of headroom; the master cabin features a double bed, guest cabin also has a double bed plus additional sleeping space in another smaller cabin. The toilet/shower rooms are clean and updated. In the large toilet/shower room there is even a nice bathtub. There are two electric toilets and two showers in total. The master cabin and guest cabin have received new ergonomic mattresses. The heating system consists of Webasto 3.2 kW as well as a newer Autotherm 8 kW diesel heating system from 2024 with SMS module. The boat has approximately 600 liters of freshwater capacity, 182 liters septic tank capacity, and a total of 1,907 liters of fuel distributed across two tanks. The large flybridge serves as a central living area on this Bayliner 4588 Pilothouse with seating groups, steering station, and ample space aft for an inflatable boat or similar. The flybridge cover is from 2024. The aft deck features an awning with new windows from 2024. Externally there is Flexiteek from 2020, swim platform, swim ladder, electric tender crane with renovated crane and new winch as well as an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. Propulsion consists of two Hino W06D-TI diesel engines each producing 250 horsepower. The engines are six-cylindered and freshwater-cooled. The hour meters have been replaced showing approximately 800 hours total as of August 17th, 2026. Hino is Toyota's commercial division; this newer model engine continues to be produced today. The engines were completely overhauled in 2019 including replacement of all twelve fuel injectors, valve adjustments, and a comprehensive service at 500 hours. Cooling systems were inspected; intercoolers were removed for cleaning; starter relays replaced; turbos removed for grinding, painting, and testing; belts and hoses were replaced; new stainless steel exhaust elbows installed; plus complete cleaning of engines and engine room was performed. Fuel tanks have been cleaned out with two new Racor 1000 fuel filters installed. At cruising speeds around 9-10 knots fuel consumption is reported to be approximately 10 liters per engine per hour. The boat's top speed is around 18 knots. The engines have fixed shafts with four-bladed propellers. The greased shafts received new grease lines in 2025/2026. The boat features SidePower bow and stern thrusters with remote control as well as hydraulic trim tabs. Electrical systems have been reviewed including two new Victron 12/50 shore chargers; Victron galvanic isolator; new starter motors on both main engines; plus inspection and measurement of electrical installations.
