BROKERAGE BOAT, JUST ARRIVED: Beautiful and well-maintained, a popular motorboat from the sought-after Princess shipyard. Princess builds boats that sail well, look good, are ingeniously designed, and boast a build quality that surpasses most competitors by far. If it says Princess on the boat, you know it's quality... This boat is no exception, and this specific one has had its flybridge extended, eliminating the "ugly" canopy extension typically mounted to protect the aft deck. With this elegant solution, one of the bonuses is that you won't have to sit and bend your head on the large aft sofa. The boat has also been fitted with a bow platform, concealing the anchor and providing easy access from the bow. The wide side decks contribute to a good feeling when walking along the wheelhouse to access the aft deck. The aft deck itself, with the large sofa spanning its width, is very spacious, accommodating a large table and loose chairs. Beneath the deck out here, there is a large storage space where all the sailing gear needed for long holiday voyages, which the boat invites, can be stowed. From the aft deck, there is also a ladder up to the flybridge with another helm station and plenty of seating/table space. Once you've experienced steering from up here with the magnificent view, it's hard to let go of the flybridge concept... The helm station in the salon provides ample visibility all around during navigation, as well as when docked. Good natural light through the large windows makes the salon a cozy place to be when the weather outside turns harsh. The salon features a large sofa and table, space for crew and guests, and two steps down is the boat's galley with gas stove/oven/fridge/sink with hot and cold water. Opposite the galley, a door leads to the guest bunk, and next to it, a door to the toilet. At the very front of the boat is the owner's cabin with a double bed, closets, etc. In recent years, the boat has had its navigation equipment upgraded, boasting no less than 4 large newer Simrad chartplotters, 2 in the salon, 2 on the flybridge, radar, autopilot, bow thruster, electric windlass, oil heater, etc. The boat lacks nothing for comfortable sailing and living aboard - just turn the keys and go. Propulsion is provided by 2 robust Volvo Penta TAMD 41 diesel engines on fixed shafts. These engines are known as pure workhorses without all the bells and whistles like electronics, compressors; here, it's all about reliability and economical cruising at 7-8 knots. If you're in a hurry and push the throttle forward, the boat easily moves at over 20 knots. The boat is being sold solely because the owners are retiring from many years of sailing; it is recommended to view the boat in its proper element before its imminent retirement.
