From the board of Botin & Partners and with construction in full pre-preg carbon by Latini Marine in Italy in 2005, ORLANDA was one of an incredible 12 Transpac (TP) 52’s launched that year, racing competitively with multiple victories in the Breitling MedCup regattas, and helping to cement the TP52 as ‘THE’ class for top-tier international Grand Prix racing. With only two owners since her first launch, ORLANDA has been competitively raced and continually updated to create a boat that now offers an extremely cost-effective way to step into high-performance racing, and ideal solution for Med’ and Caribbean offshore regattas such as the Rolex Middle Sea Race and RORC Caribbean 600. ORLANDA’s specification highlights include:- • CE Category B – Offshore classification • Pre-preg carbon fibre construction with Nomex core • Weldox stainless steel keel fin with lead torpedo bulb • Carbon monocoque rudder and stock connected to twin carbon fibre helm wheels • Hall Spars carbon fibre mast and boom • Cariboni rig hydraulics • Holmatro hydraulic mast jack • Harken winch package with carbon coffee grinders • North Sails 3DL/3Di sail wardrobe • B&H Hercules 2000 instrument package • Yanmar 55hp diesel engine with Saildrive gearbox and Gori 2-blade racing prop • Removable fresh water tanks
