Sailingboat for sale
Description
Our truly unique Colin Archer 33 The time has come to pass on our beloved Colin Archer 33 to new owners. The boat was built in 1983 by the family boatbuilder, following original drawings from 1906. Constructed in oak on oak/spruce and built entirely according to traditional craftsmanship principles. The boat features a wonderfully large, self-draining cockpit made of aluminum. The vessel has been in the family's possession and has always been meticulously maintained and stored indoors in a hall every winter. It is approved by the Colin Archer Association and has received several awards for its construction quality and authenticity. This is sailing in its purest form – a true classic without modern equipment and electronics. Apart from a compass, no instrumentation is installed. We personally sail with an iPad with a chart plotter when necessary. Sails and cushions are in good condition, and there is ample headroom in the salon. The 6 berths have a length between 160 and 200 cm. The boat must be experienced – it is a rare opportunity to take over a piece of living boatbuilding history where nothing is left to chance. Colin Archer boats are known worldwide for their safety and calmness in rough weather. They sail fantastically, which is why they have been copied all over the world. We are happy to assist with handover and maintenance instruction. We are open to a smaller sailboat in exchange – either in wood or fiberglass. For example, a Folkboat, H-boat, or something similar. The price is negotiable with the right buyer.
