We are now selling our Comfort 30 as we are entering a period where we won't have as much time to sail due to a growing family. A lovely boat model that sails really well and is very spacious in both the cockpit and salon. It offers 5-6 berths as the table in the salon can be lowered to create a smaller double bed. The price includes a Category 4 boat berth (max width 3.1 meters) under an old arrangement at Vallensbæk harbor. The old arrangement allows the berth to be resold at market price, ensuring you do not lose your deposit. If you wish to buy the boat without the berth, that is also possible. Feel free to make an offer for this. The annual berth fee has been paid for 2025 (value approx. 10,000 DKK). The boat has been antifouled and the topsides polished in Easter 2025, so it is fully prepared for launching. The boat is currently on land and available for inspection. The boat is ready to sail as is, but being 48 years old, it naturally has some minor flaws. It is not for someone expecting a boat in perfect condition. It functions and sails well but shows signs of its age, which is reflected in the price. It presents a great opportunity to easily get on the water and enjoy the summer without needing to paint, polish, or do anything other than grab the keys. Headroom is 1.90 meters at the galley and 1.80 meters at the mast support. Built to the same measurement rules for offshore racing as Ballad and Scampi, the boat is known for its excellent sailing performance in both light and strong winds. Constructed in 1977 in Stenungsund at the renowned Sweden Yacht shipyard. The cockpit is notably spacious compared to other boats of similar size, with no cockpit coaming to trip over, making it very practical when in port. Length: 9.09 m Beam: 3.03 m Waterline length: 7.07 m Height: 12.8 m Weight: 3.2 tons Draft: 1.7 m Lead keel: 1.4 tons (eliminates rust risk) Boat History: Sailed in Lake Mälaren until 2001, then stored indoors for ten years. Subsequently sailed sparingly in southern Bohuslän. I purchased the boat from the previous owner in Gothenburg and sailed it to Denmark. Engine: Volvo Penta MD7A, 13.4 horsepower, freshwater-cooled. Fully overhauled in 2012 at an authorized workshop. New bellows, pressure tested, sea valves, thermostat housing replaced, new seals and drive, new thermostat in 2016, among other updates. Additionally, a new starter motor in 2021. Regularly serviced with filters and oil changes each year. Volvo Penta 110S saildrive with fixed propeller. Sails: Main sail, roller furling jib (flying jib - performs well close-hauled), and roller genoa (sized 130% or 140%). Sails inspected by sailmaker in 2021. Spinnaker and full spinnaker gear also included. LazyJacks from 2016. Equipment: Upon purchase, an old paraffin heater was included, though non-functional. However, the setup allows for easy installation of a diesel heater with existing fuel lines and outlets. 2-burner gas stove with new gas installation in 2024, converted from the Swedish system to fit standard gas bottles in Denmark. 1 gas bottle included. Foot pumps for salt and freshwater. Estimated 100-liter freshwater tank. Cool box with compressor cooling from 2013, may need refrigerant. Currently not operational; we used a portable 12V cooler on trips, which worked well. "Porta Potti" toilet. Initially skeptical, but it has proven effective, allowing use in port with easy disposal at onshore facilities. Alternatively, a stainless steel holding tank with deck pump-out fittings is installed, ready for connecting a marine toilet if preferred. Sprayhood from 2012 - shows signs of wear, see photos. Boom tent from 2018. Cockpit tent from 2015 - lightly used, in excellent condition (essential for accommodating many onboard, creating an additional large space). Teak in the cockpit. New interior ceiling in 2012. Shore power with residual-current device and three outlets in the salon (2023). 1 starter battery (2025 - brand new, never used) and 1 house battery (2019) 75Ah each. A battery isolator is also installed (2022) for charging both batteries. New Raymarine ST2000 Autopilot from 2021. Electric bilge pump with manual/auto switch from 2024. Cockpit compass. GPS plotter Garmin 720s with depth sounder and water temperature sensor from 2015, charts for both Denmark and Sweden. VHF with DSC and mast antenna from 2020. Swim ladder. Bow platform with ladder from 2018. Anchor roller with Bruce anchor - suitable for archipelago cruising. Various fenders, ropes, mooring lines, etc., for coastal cruising, and other equipment included. Boat folder with original documents, receipts, user manuals, etc. I have recently filmed the boat's topsides and hull for a closer look. The link should be available here.
