A powerfully built ocean-going sailboat with plenty of space and potential - built on a hull from Norwegian Randesund Båtbyggeri and fully adapted by the first owner. Randesund Båtbyggeri in Norway was responsible for the construction of the Clipper series, which were developed as solid long-distance sailboats inspired by classic ocean-going vessels. The boats are known for their sturdy construction, safe sailing characteristics and spacious layout, making them suitable for both long voyages and longer stays on board. The design has clear classic lines with a high freeboard, protected cockpit and a robust underwater construction. The combination of high weight, deep ballast keel and heavy-duty construction creates a stable and comfortable boat built to handle long distances and demanding conditions. The Clipper 47 is a spacious and solid 47-foot sailboat with a focus on strength and comfort over speed. The construction is heavily dimensioned with a single laminate fiberglass hull and an embedded lead ballast of approximately 8 tons. The deck is built with glulam beams, 22 mm marine plywood and 5 layers of 450 grams of fiberglass fabric, resulting in a very strong construction. The entire deck is insulated with approx. 70 mm insulation and 5 mm Perstorp inner lining. The rig is classically ketch rigged with wooden masts, where the main mast is continuous and the mizzen mast is not continuous. The sail wardrobe consists of mainsail, mizzen, jib and clew - all sails are from Bainbridge. The interior is spacious and practical with a bright cockpit, a large saloon, functional pantry, several cabins and good storage options, making the boat suitable for both family use and longer stays on board. This Randesund Clipper 47 is hull number 11. The hull was originally purchased from Randesund Båtbyggeri in Norway and delivered to Nyköping in Sweden, where the first owner - a trained carpenter - finished and fitted out the boat himself over a number of years. The construction period stretched from 1991 until the launch on June 15, 1998. The first owner kept "Maria Therese" until 2021, when the current owner bought the ship and sailed from Nyköping in Sweden to Denmark via Bandholm and Korsør to its current location in Nykøbing Sjælland. The boat appears as an exciting project for the right buyer, where the basic construction is very solid and where an update of equipment and installations could bring the boat up to a level that matches its strong foundation. The engine is a Perkins M-135, installed in 1997. The hour meter reads approximately 385 hours, but has not worked since the current owner took over the boat. It is estimated that the engine has run about 200 hours more in total. The engine was last serviced by Odsherred Marineservice on November 20, 2025. The current owner has also installed Webasto heating, solar cells and a new Green Cell 3000/6000 inverter. Points of attention: - The boat has not been on land since the current owner took it over in 2021. - The boat does not have a holding tank. - The existing fresh water tank is relatively small compared to the size of the boat. The Randesund Clipper 47 is not an ordinary series-produced boat, but a solidly built vessel with plenty of character and potential. For the right buyer looking for a spacious and robust long-distance sailor with a classic look, this is a boat with a strong foundation and many possibilities.
