Everyone can bid until February 16, 2026.Authentic design and constructionThe Grundel 600 is built with a flat bottom, resulting in a shallow draft of only 50 cm. This makes the ship ideal for shallow waters and narrow waterways. The hull is traditionally constructed from wood, enhancing the authentic appearance and classic character of the ship. The wooden mast and rigging further emphasize this and make the ship a striking presence on the water.Steering is done through a tiller on the exterior, providing a direct and intuitive sailing experience. The rudder is single-handed and has been recently fully refurbished. In 2025, the rudder was restored, with wood touch-ups, a fiberglass and epoxy coating, and finished with antifouling. New fittings and a flag holder have also been installed, enhancing both functionality and appearance.Sailing and motor performanceThe Grundel 600 is equipped with a traditional sail plan consisting of a jib and a mainsail, both made of linen. The sails are complete and functional, making the ship suitable for authentic sailing pleasure. The wooden mast features a mast lowering system, allowing for easy mast lowering. This also enables the ship to be used as a motorboat, for instance when passing under low bridges or when sailing without sails. The built-in diesel engine from Beta Marine, type 14, delivers 14 hp through two cylinders. The engine is electrically started and has approximately 290 running hours. Regular maintenance has been performed, including oil changes, filter replacements, and impeller pump servicing. The engine provides sufficient power for leisurely trips and maneuvering in harbors or narrow waterways. The onboard 60Ah battery meets basic power needs.Comfort and deck equipmentThe deck features a teak finish, not only contributing to the classic appearance but also providing a pleasant and secure walking experience. A swim ladder at the stern makes it easy to reboard from the water, making the ship suitable for recreational use on warm days. An anchor with chain and line is available for anchoring, ensuring the ship can be securely moored.Inside, the Grundel 600 offers two fixed berths, making it suitable for short overnight stays or weekend trips. The interior is simple yet functional, in line with the character of a traditional wooden sailboat.Versatile use and classic charmIn recent years, this Grundel has been used for leisure sailing and day trips, mainly on inland waters, lakes, and canals. Thanks to the combination of sail and motor power, the ship is flexible for various uses, depending on the user's preferences and water conditions. Whether for leisurely sailing on a summer day or a relaxed motor trip, the Grundel 600 offers an authentic sailing experience. The ship comes with a complete deck cover, providing protection against weather when not in use.
