Well-equipped and well-maintained X-99 with a replaced Volvo Penta engine, new Eberspächer heater, fine North sails, mk2 trim, WC with holding tank, fresh cabin etc. Perfect X-99 for racing and sporty cruising! Much has been updated in recent years for over 30,000 Euros! Read below. Racing equipment (updated 2016 - 2020) equivalent to mk2: - Mk2 trim with double controls for vang, mainsheet with two purchases, in- and outhaulers, six-part backstay trim, spinnaker ratchet blocks, Easykick with double controls, various trim etc. Harken ball-bearing blocks for mainsheet, backstay and spinnaker trim. - Otherwise, quality blocks from Selden or Ronstan. - Lewmar clutches replaced (2016) - All halyards and trim lines in Dyneema SK78 (2016 or later) Rig updates (2016-2023) by Benns https://www.gransegel.se/benns-mast-rigg/ - Upper and forestay (Dyform) & turnbuckles (Hasselfors) - Forestay profile (Harken) - Backstay replaced with Dyform 2016, blocks (Selden) and backstay line Dyneema (SK78) replaced 2023 - Dyneema (SK78) backstay and backstay tensioner - Tie Rods installed (Hasselfors 2016) Instruments: - Nexus log and depth sounder, Raymarine GPS plotter (2012). History: The boat was bought in Helsinki in 2012 as a family boat with a dry and intact hull. After that, the boat was equipped for family racing and measured into the SRS handicap rule. Family raced for a few weeks and some races per year, except for the X-Yacht Cup in 2016 and 2017 where we came 2nd overall. A good deal: Over 300,000 SEK invested in recent years on new sails, engine, heater, rigging details, halyards and trim, electrical system, batteries and solar panels, as well as bottom renovation. Receipts are available for the engine, heater, North sails, major renovations as well as engine service. If you value a well-maintained and race-ready X-99 with a new engine and fresh cabin, this is an excellent option. The boat is located in Stockholm on Djurgården and is ready to sail from the beginning of May. If the boat needs to be transported, I can assist if needed.
