Fast Scampi 30 MK3, built in 1973. This boat is truly fun, especially in light to moderate winds, larger boats are left far behind. Atlantic proven. Investments in parts (plotter, VHF, roller furling system, sails, winches, autopilot, sprayhood, etc.) since 2020 amount to approximately 10,000 euros. Rigging: Selden 2-spreader rig from '94, Furlex 200 S roller furling system, 110% roller jib in good condition, stable, triple-stitched, long-distance sail by Rolly Tasker; fully battened triradial mainsail "Primesails", durable laminate, 3 reefs, only 600 miles sailed, very good condition. Genoa/storm jib, 2 different spinnakers, blister. 43 self-tailing Lewmar winches, 2 Andersen winches on the mast, Lewmar winches on deck and for roller furling. All halyards, single-line reefs, topping lift, boom vang redirected to the cockpit, easylock MIDI halyard stoppers, (halyards can also be used at the mast through the mast winches). All navigation lights except steaming light LED. New in 2020: depth sounder, AIS reception via VHF device Lawrence link 8 and via BUS to chartplotter B&G Vulcan 7 F, allowing position to be sent in case of emergency at the push of a button. New Silva steering compass, new Simrad TP22 tiller pilot. Ample 20HP, hence low consumption at cruising speed (1 liter at 2200 rpm and about 13 HP) Kubota D722, 3 cylinders, built in 1994, base engine for Nanni. Conversion from diesel-hydraulic to solid shaft in 2009/2010: Kanzaki gearbox (for Yanmar up to 55HP, only 4 kg heavier than the smaller gearbox) and complete 25mm shaft system, oil-lubricated stuffing box made of brass, engine mounts, flexible shaft coupling. Engine overhauled. Volvo 2-blade folding propeller in 2012. Quick 25A charger, isolator, wiring for charger, starter, limit (60A), gel battery + starter battery need replacement, solar controller, Gebo Ocean hatches in 2012. Stainless steel rudder blade and shaft (new bearings in 2025), water and diesel tanks in stainless steel. Sprayhood only 3 years old. 2 x 14 kg anchors. I have owned the boat for 30 years, Zampano has spent some seasons on land because I lived far from the coast. From 1997-99, Zampano safely took me to the Caribbean and back. Some modifications helped: reinforced skeg, cockpit safety bar (removable with 6 screws), folding instead of sliding bulkheads (making them operable with one hand and quickly), built-in compressor cooler box (40 liters), also usable as a freezer box, reinforcement of the underwater chainplates, larger cleats. Chain locker and collision bulkhead laminated, bow fitting. Cockpit floor with hatch built, and much more. Maximum headroom about 183 cm decreasing forward. HARBOUR TRAILER also usable as a cradle, for lifting or slipping; dismantlable and transportable on a car trailer. I have removed the WIND SELF steering system and the solid fuel STOVE and installed them on my new boat, so they are not included in the sale! Zampano is ready to sail (raise the mast and replace the batteries and go) and is looking forward to the next owner(s) who are willing to invest some work (finishing work in the bow berth, bow berth lighting, etc. and leaks in windows and more. New antifouling in March 2026 (Shogun by Seajet), hull repainted in July 2025. Deck painted. 5 berths. Swiveling table, original still available. Viewing in the water in Kiel possible. Would like to pass the boat on to sailing enthusiasts.
