Having spent most of her life on inland waterways, the boat has seen relatively sheltered use before making the journey to Greece in 2024. From 2016 until April 2024 the yacht was based in Merzig/Saar, Germany, followed by Basse-Ham, France between April and June 2024. The yacht was then transported by low loader to Koper, Slovenia, before cruising to Preveza, Greece between June and August 2024. Since October 2024 the yacht has been stored ashore at Cleopatra Marina, Preveza. From 2004 until June 2024, Casa Nova operated exclusively on inland waterways.
